Grantown is a good location for visiting the wildlife attractions of the Cairngorms whilst also being convenient for Inverness and the coast around Nairn. We found the village location perfect for us with an excellent bakery and Co-op within walking distance, and a choice of take aways for when you didn't want to cook. We also had some lovely walks in the local forest just 5 minutes from the door. The cottage had everything that you could imagine needing and more... The mountain bikes and snooker table in the garage being the biggest surprise!

A very comfortable house, well equiped and central for all the town's amenities. There are many walks in the forestry, hills and river beside the town which are accessible within a few minutes walk, so we didn't have to drive all week. The Craig Bar, 50 yards from the cottage, sells the best pie (10 varieties) and chips that we have ever had and it is dog friendly. We have already booked for next year.

Lovely cottage, was just right for our golfing holiday in Grantown. Well equipped and plenty of space in house. Made use of the BBQ and outdoor space in garden. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent holiday cottage. It is extremely well equipped, especially the kitchen. Condiments are provided, as well as cleaning equipment. The house is very well set up for dogs and families, with dog bed, spare lead, Tupperware well suited for packed lunches and picnics, cutlery for toddlers, drinks cups, toys, etc. Lots of comfortable seating areas, inside and out.
