I would like you to correct two things to avoid disappointment! 1) The directions to the property is wrong you need to correct it to say turn left onto Llanllechid rd. 2) the property does not or has never had WiFi! Upon noticing this my daughter thought her world had ended. Once she had got over this we had a lovely time.

We used Yr Hen Weithdy as a Base for a Snowdonia roadtrip. We could not ask for a better location, with fantastic views of Snowdonia. The cottage was a bit compact but very clean, modern and excellent value for money. The hot tub is a great addition too. There is lots of parking which was handy as one of our party, May, brought an Alfa Romeo so we may have required extra space to repair it.

The cottage was in a beautiful location and was very comfortable with great beds and a fantastic hot tub. Would definitely stay here again as there are lots of places to visit although if the weathers bad finding places to go can be expensive. We visited Conwy Castle which was great and also the Sea Zoo at Anglesey. There aren't many places to eat out close by and when we tried Bethesda there was no where serving food at all, but Bangor is very easy to get to. Would recommend a visit and would love to visit in the winter, would be a great place to spend Christmas.

Absolutely stunning cottage. Loved getting in the hot tub in the evening and then warming up by the wood burning stove which got toasty warm. Good location. Not too remote and close enough to amenities.
