We enjoyed the holiday thank you. There were a couple of things that would have made it better, when booking I would have preferred to be told that our dog would not be able to stay in the cabin alone, we weren’t able to go out for meals in the evening because we had to have the dog with us all of the time, and to be honest the cabin wasn’t in the best of conditions anyway, carpet and paint could do with renewing. Also it was a bit further from padstow than I was expecting, other than that it was a very enjoyable stay and we would definitely return

Response on behalf of the owner; Many thanks for your review. It is made aware that dogs are not allowed to be left unattended in the booking terms with Cottages.com. This is standard practice in rental properties. Cornwall is very dog friendly and nearly all the pubs around us are dog friendly so you could have happily taken them out with you. If you had spoken to us we would have gladly recommended some. We were aware of the carpets, a hazard of having dog friendly lodges. They were changed on the 31st October which was the first free week we could book them into be done after the Summer season together with any painting required. We hope this has not put you off visiting Cornwall.

This was a delightful holiday experience. The lodge was large, comfortable in a most quiet spot which suited us well. The nearest shop was only two miles away and was very useful. We greatly enjoyed our stay and the owners, who were on site, were most obliging and helpful. We would certainly return to this peaceful place. RKB

Lovely lodge, with outstanding country views. Owners really nice and helpful. Lovely welcome package too. Only real downside was it's location, we knew the statistics of where it was when booking and thought it was ok, but in hindsight, you always had to get in car for amenities.

Lovely lodge. I had been worried when I first looked about the fact that this was also a camp site, but it's only very small, so it's peaceful. Great location, great wellcome pack of eggs milk, cake etc. It was also great that our cat could come and the owners were pleased that we left the lodge in a good state when we left. The main bedroom also has a walk in wardrobe which is great. The only negatives were: 1. It would be great if there was a bit more bathroom furniture in both the bathroom and en suite for storage. 2. I would suggest not putting the washer dryer on overnight - Though it is very good it shakes the whole lodge. Overall though I would definately stay again and the scores were spot on. It's a great lodge and perfect location for us. We wanted to be near Bedruthen and it was 10 minutes drive.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Many thanks for your kind words. We will definitely look into more bathroom storage in this Lodge, something we’ve missed, thanks for pointing it out. So glad you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to see you again in the future.
