We found Yew Trees a lovely place to stay, the bungalow was warm. comfortable and very spacious, we particularly found the utility room very useful which meant we could clean the dogs and ourselves before we entered the property. It is in a good location and is easy to get to all the popular locations, although it is in a residential area we found it very quiet and peaceful. We only had one minor problem while we were there which was quickly rectified by the owners. All in all a good week was had and we would stay there again,

Nice week despite poor weather. Bungalow well equipped and cosy. The beds however are old and lumpy. The bedding too is poor quality. Good location between Bowness and Windermere. Real shame there's no garden for dogs.

Walkable distance to both Bowness and Winderemere. Close to Grasmere and Kendal. Cruise on Lake Windermere was great. Fantastic scenery. Best tip - ignore Sat Nav and keep to the main roads.
