Set within the Exmoor National Park, this five star property offers peaceful and immaculately presented accommodation for up to ten guests.

Set in a spectacular location on the northern slopes of Exmoor National Park, a few hundred yards from the coast and with views of the Bristol Channel, Yenworthy Farm is situated in ‘Doone Country’, and actually appears in the novel itself. The gun which was supposedly used to repel the ‘Doones’ still hangs in the farmhouse to this day. This working farm once had its own mill and the old water wheel can still be seen. Two traditional barns in the courtyard of the farm have been sympathetically converted to offer a very high standard of accommodation throughout.
Yenworthy is ideal for walkers - a rugged pathway leads from the farm down to a secluded beach and there is direct access to one of the most scenic sections of the South West Coast Path. There are 13 miles of footpaths to explore on the farm itself and it even has its own historic monument - an old Roman Fort at Old Burrow. A haven for wildlife, it has four Sites of Special Scientific Interest and rare species of butterflies and trees. The nearest sandy beach is Lee Abbey (5 miles) and there are excellent surfing beaches at Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton within easy driving distance. There are three pubs with restaurants within 3 miles and plenty of shops in Lynton and Lynmouth
(4 miles), Polock (7 miles), Minehead (13 miles) and Barnstaple (21 miles), which also has a popular covered market. River fishing and grazing for horses are available by arrangement. Shops 4 miles.

Very enjoyable holiday. Good location with lovely views. Easy access to Lynton and Lynmouth and Minehead. Good for walking, with local walks available from the farm. Comfortable accommodation. Would stay again!

We were 6 friends on holiday with our horses and had a really special holiday riding along the coast and over the moor. Both coastal and moorland riding was amazing! There were spectacular views constantly. We rode from base every day except the final day and always had new places to go to. (GPS advisable for Lanacombe bridleway!) Yenworthy Mill was a spacious, well equipped and comfortable barn to return to each day and we even managed to eat our slow roast lamb outside on the patio one evening. Our host, Hazel, was really helpful and set up stabling and grazing for the horses in their farm buildings near-by. A truly memorable holiday!

Wonderful. Perfect for 8 ladies away for the weekend. Beautiful location, top class accommodation and Hazel the caretaker was an absolute gem - offered lots of advice & rescued us from a milk shortage on arrival so we could have an emergency cuppa :)
