Excellent location to hike snowdonia and surrounding tracks. Beautiful little cottage with everything we needed plus a hot tub. Owners were there to greet us on arrival and welcome us to the cottage. Peace and quiet!

Couldn't really fault the cottage, very warm and cosy and in a quiet area. The hot tub after a long walk is an extra bonus and well worth a dip. No mobile phone signal received in the cottage but wifi worked fine most of the time, went off one day all day, but the owner is aware.

A lovely warm, comfortable cottage ideal for two people. Mr & Mrs Hughes were very helpful and endeavoured to make sure that everything was in order during our stay, including coming round with candles in case the power went off during one of the many storms that we had. There is plenty of local and recreational information available in the cottage and the Rhyd Ddu path up Snowdon is right outside the door. The local station for the Welsh Highland Railway is within a few minutes by car and is also an easy walk for those not wanting to pay to park. It is an ideal location for walking and mountain biking without having to use the car . The hot tub is an added bonus and the WiFi worked perfectly all week. Just to be aware we had no mobile or 3G signal in the cottage or surrounding area.

Great Location right on ryd du path up snowdon superb route to climb, hot tub was great after a hard days walking , cottage was clean and had everthing we needed, hosts were friendly and helpfull , minor point the sun was on the otherside of the building so meant the sitting out area was in shade, but plenty of room around the farm.would go again

Cottage is located in a beautiful area. Overlooked by Snowden. It's a great base for walking and sightseeing. The hot tub is nice after a walk too. I would recommend it for a great holiday.

Excellent location - lovely cottage for two! Lacks private outdoor sitting area but compensated by beautiful location with the very welcome addition of the hot tub - small but adequate - perfect for walking, lovely walks from your door step!

Y Gorlan is beautifully finished with lovely bedding and granite worktops in the kitchen, though the kitchen area is very small. Phil and Rosie are excellent hosts - helpful and friendly. It was a great bonus that we could walk to the summit of Snowdon direct from the door. The hot tub was fun.
