Located in the heart of the village with a 13th-century church providing a pretty backdrop, this traditional black and white cottage provides an idyllic holiday base.

Set in the grounds of Wrockwardine Hall, these two stunning luxury properties have been thoughtfully designed and decorated throughout. Wrockwardine Cottage has been converted from a traditional black and white cottage and The Malthouse was once a former malthouse, dating back to the 1600s and is Grade II* listed. They are positioned in the heart of Wrockwardine village with the 13th-century church providing a pretty backdrop. This was the best holiday cottage we have stayed in. It is beautifully clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Although the village where it is situated does not have any amenities, it is but a short drive to the nearest supermarket and there are pubs and restaurants within easy driving distances. Lots of National Trust and English Heritage properties in the area, Shrewsbury is a lovely town to visit and the countryside is beautiful with rolling hills. The Wrekin is close by for those wanting a more adventurous and energetic holiday. The owners, in the neighbouring property, are very kind and welcoming and go out of their way to make one's stay really enjoyable.
