Lovely cottage , great secure garden for dogs. Loved the welcoming scones and cream , great place to stay to get away for a few days peace and quiet yet you are only a few miles away from beaches and shopping .

We enjoyed our stay at wren cottage, but it could have been much better if it had been cleaned better. Due to the cottage being dog friendly which we did not mind when we booked it' as our family own pets, but we found it to smell of dog on the furniture and rugs. There was loose dog hairs on the tiled floors in the bedroom and kitchen/living area. We happened to turned on the oven only to find it smelled of fat and it left the room smelling badly. Could have done with being cleaned properly I think! We returned in the dark, only to find the outside courtesy light was not working and its very dark with no other light. With wren cottage being tucked away in a corner we had to be very careful walking to the door. It was good having a place to park our car. The overall rating would have scored 10 only for cleanliness which is easily fixed!

Loved it but Wi-Fi was poor as was the vodafone signal. Many footpaths are hidden so it really is a car job to take them out. I would live with those matters and return if I can face the traffic queues.

We loved our stay at Wren Cottage with our dog.It was his first holiday!Very nice cottage, everything you need.Nice welcome pack too. Very peaceful and lively country views and lawns outside. The only drawback a little bit far out for newspapers etc as Bridport nearest town.was hoping a village shop but not to be !

We loved the cottage and felt very much at home there. Very nice to sit in the garden with lovely views, and listen to the birdsong. Comfortable bed, which is always good. Very clean and nicely done. The photo online doesn't do it justice.

One of 5 converted barns, off the main road, down a farm track, so very peaceful. The compact but cosy cottage is lovely, and has a decent size fully enclosed garden which our Westie loved. While there is a pub within walking distance, you need a car to enjoy the local attractions, can't fault the cottage itself and we enjoyed sitting out enjoying the views. A nice touch was the welcome pack of a cream tea, and a lovely touch was a biscuit and towel of the dog.

A well equipped and comfortable cottage in a beautiful area. We had a great week and hope to be back next year. Very good for dogs due to enclosed garden, hard floors and lovely walks.
