Love the cottage and our visit there. However it does need to be said that is is quite tired compared to the photographs and so my first reaction was some disappointment. Although this may be part of the character it does need a good coat of paint to freshen it up, particularly downstairs. Well equipped kitchen. Great touch to have cake, wine and milk ready for a cup of tea. Would go again if in this area.

The cottage is in a stunning location and, especially on sunny days, the views are wonderful. It is a little tired around the edges, and took a while to heat up and feel really comfortable (it had been very cold the week before our stay). We missed a few refinements, however we appreciated the spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen and lovely walks straight from the door.

We stayed here over Christmas, this was the best Christmas we have ever had! Stunning house. Immaculately clean and there was even a Christmas tree waiting for us to decorate when we arrived. The location is amazing, so peaceful and tranquil. The views all around are beautiful too. The garden is perfect for dogs, we have 3 little ones and they could not escape!!! Rooms were unbelievably spacious, well furnished and clean. Shower is incredible, like being in a spa! The roll top bath is also gorgeous, you can have a lovely soak and admire the views. The cottage is equipped with everything you need and more, including wood for the fires which were one of our favourite things about the cottage. We want to come back this year!

Lovely location. Garden ideal for our two dogs. Well equipped kitchen and "welcome" cake, wine etc. very much appreciated. Our bed was very comfortable. We felt the Lounge and shower room were not up to 4 star standard.

Three generations of our family and a dog had a fabulous week at the cottage. The views were incredible and it was the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. Comfy beds to flop into after busy days exploring the Breacon Beacons, The Forest of Dean, Hay on Wye and Hereford Cathedral. Delicious local food from Oakchurch Farm shop just down the road on the A438 and great little One Stop shop in Credenhill. Very well equipped kitchen and great shower. Teenagers were very happy to have wifi! None of us wanted to go home!! Would definitely stay there again.

Stunning location. I could never get tired of the views. It was very dog friendly and the children loved the big garden. The only downside was the heat from the AGA on a hot day. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.
