The only problem was getting onto WiFi

Lovely cottage, but unable to access wifi and first floor bathroom a little difficult to manoeuvre in, due to the sloping roof, especially if you are tall. However, our hosts were delightful, helpful and charming, which made up for the couple of hicups. The welcome pack, which included wine and a cream tea, was very thoughtful and the cottage was well equipped and ideally placed for touring the area. We would definitely consider staying there again if we were in the area.

Although backing onto a small housing estate ( hardly noticeable ) the accommodation has great views over farmland and has good garden and seating areas. Steve and Anne were excellent hosts who provided a great 'welcome package' which included wine, tea, coffee, milk and..... well, what else would you need? All the rooms were clean and tidy and there were enough towels for a small army. It was a good base for revisiting Heligan, Eden, Charlestown etc.. We would definitely recommend Woodside Barns for a comfortable and peaceful break. Oh, and not forgetting Biscuit the very friendly cat.

The location is situated on the outskirts of a small housing estate however the view from the cottage looks directly accross open fields which provides a wonderful setting. The cottage itself is clean and provides the perfect base for days out to explore Cornwall. The owners are more than helpful providing us with a wonderful welcome package. The upper floor provides two berooms with slanted ceailings so no tall people please. It also provides a bathroom which was clean and fully functional to meet our needs. There are ample local facilities such as superstores Asda and Tesco all within driving distance. I would recomend this cottage to friends and others that wish for a relaxing week away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
