The location is quiet and picturesque; the hosts are friendly and helpful; the accommodation is warm, cosy and clean with plenty of character; and there are plenty of sites to see and places to visit within approximately 10 miles. The only downside was hitting your head or shoulder on the sloping bedroom ceiling if you are on the taller side (I am 6').

My partner, dog and I stayed from the 23rd December to Boxing Day in this beautiful cottage. The cottage is comfortable, clean and mixes modern with rustic features really well. We haven't been away for Xmas before but after staying at this cottage, I would do it again. The owners are very helpful and friendly. There was a nice little hamper with some goodies in which was a nice touch. There is a lovely walk across the fields to a local pub which allowed dogs in and served up good food. I would 100% stay again.
