Lovely bungalow, very clean with all modern amenities. In a very quite cul de sac, only amenities nearby is the local pub, which is nice and serves good food, but no local shops near, nearest shop about 2 miles away

A first class bungalow with exceptional furnishings - almost more than a home from home. The cul de sac location and quiet neighbourhood suited us perfectly. Although expensive, it was worth every penny.

Bungalow very clean and comfortably furnished. Location excellent for The Beamish Museum which is well worth a visit as loads to see and do there. There was everything we needed in the bungalow and the only slight niggle we had was that there were only very few tourist attraction leaflets available. On our travels we collected a bundle of them and left there for future guests. Would recommend this bungalow to stay in.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for replenishing the tourist information leaflets. We continually replace and add to the collection, however our guests make good use of the leaflets and are free to take them as required. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay.

I was really impressed with the accommodation , much better than I expected ! The furnishings and appliances are of high quality - not usually found in holiday rentals . Even with days of constant rain the outlook and surroundings are very pleasant, with a comfortable space inside to relax - I still enjoyed myself ! As I only got to the museum once because of heavy rain really want to book again to go back !

A very well equipped and clean bungalow in an ideal location. We found the beds to be comfortable as well as the seating in the lounge. We would have preferred it if you could lock the connecting door into the laundry room. We had a comfortable time and would return.
