Tatty, uncomfortable beds and chairs, poorly heated, draughty but great location. Also has a problem with mice.

Driving to the cottage we were treated to some lovely views of the estate and local countryside. The cottage looks like converted stables with some lovely features and beautiful views. The decor looked a bit tired especially the carpets, but having a fireplace with a supply of logs/kindling was a nice touch. We found the beds very uncomfortable but as it was a short stay this wasn’t too much of an issue.

The cottage is a little tired but we enjoyed our stay. It was ideal for our 6 year old grand son playing outside enjoying the walks and seeing the horses wild deer geese ect from the house.we would like to return next year

Beautiful, peaceful location but directions to it are not very clear. Could do with some work doing to the property, the shower head was held up with a hair bobble! Beds/mattresses poor quality and squeak/groan every time you turn over, wardrobe with no catch to close it,poorly fitting patio doors, only two sockets where the toaster, microwave and kettle are, there is no information pack which might have been helpful when there was a power cut - couldn't even find a torch! Neighbour said power cuts are quite frequent when it rains!

In a beautiful location. A bit of time and money needs to be spent on things which are in need of attention.
