This cottage served our purpose excellently as a base from which to visit our family members who live in the Bideford area. It would be great for anyone looking for a complete get away, tucked away down a country lane with absolutely stunning views of nothing but countryside. We are unlikely to stay here again simply because there is no Wi-Fi and we find that too restricting although many others may see this as a bonus! The owners who live in another of the converted barns were very welcoming and on hand if you needed them

Lovely cottage in an easy to get to location. Quiet, comfortable, well equipped and spacious. Plenty to do in the locality and good food in the nearby pub.

Fabulous place, the accommodation was great, every amenity and providing you don't mind driving down country lanes, very central for beautiful Devon. Owners Tracey and Mark were lovely, very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Look forward to returning some time in the future.

An amazing place to stay and I would recommend it to anybody. It's fantastic value for money when you compare it to the price of a caravan site and its like a home from home. The cottage itself was beautiful and the view was utterly stunning with uninterrupted countryside for miles. The owner's were very nice and were happy to help or chat anytime. They went above and beyond with all the little touches from cream tea and biscuits on arrival to dishwasher tablets, hand wash and baking equipment. Things like hand wash may seem trivial but it's one less thing to think about when you go away and would not be supplied in caravan sites. We were even introduced to the owner's horse which the children loved. The small park was a lovely touch too and the children loved coming back to play on the swings and trampoline. The 'road' to the cottage was off the beaten track and my little Cleo did well to handle the bumpy ride. But to get the views and peace of the cottage it was a small price to pay. Overall it was one of the best holidays we have had and the accommodation played a big part in that. Beautiful countryside, beautiful cottages all close to stunning beaches and attractions. What more could ask for?

Great holiday but could have benefitted from having wifi in order to better plan each day's activities and to find out local information.

Perfect place for a quiet break in the midst of lush Devon countryside. The cottage is equipped with everything one could think of and is clean and comfortable, with a good pub just a mile or so away and many places of interest within easy reach.

My family had a lovely week at this cottage. It's more than big enough and the area is perfect for peace and quiet and children. It's well equipped, very clean and tidy. We will definitely be coming back again
