We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The cottage was gorgeous with great views and everything you could need. Our host showed us around and provided a file with local information(bus time table to bath, restaurants etc). The cottage was alot more spacious then I thought and sooòo quiet making it a really peaceful break. We are looking forward to going again.

We stayed here for 3 nights from 13th October 2017. This is a lovely getaway for 2 people. Lovely host who greeted us with lots of local information. It is quite isolated, as it not close to shops etc but were within a 10 minute drive. The accommodation had everything we needed and the views were amazing. Also supplied DVDs/Board Games/Local Info and plenty of leaflets on what to do and where to go. Ideal base for Bath/Cheddar and lots of lovely smaller towns nearby. Would recommend the Park & Ride into Bath. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again in the future.

Excellent accommodation, great location, good value for money. Good base for visiting Bath, Bristol Glastonbury and many other locations. The only down side was the indifferent weather, which unfortunately no-one can do anything about.

Our hosts were welcoming and friendly, the accommodation impeccable, info. leaflets, maps etc. readily available as was adequate kitchen equipment. It was tucked away beautifully but the surrounding roads were very narrow (but beautiful until you met another car!) We did enjoy it all though - despite the weather!

the cottage is perfect for two people. Large, well equipped bedroom. Bed was soft - a little too soft for us, but fine. Bathroom was good - only used shower not bath. Shame taps are in the centre making getting in/out awkward. Those less mobile may struggle. Kitchen/dining/sitting space perfect - views over countryside lovely (when it wasn't raining!). Equipment all worked and was clean. The only aspect below par was car parking. Dedicated space was so small that passenger had to get out 1st and then driver reversed to one side and then squeezed out. Our car was big-ish (Renault Scenic), but was a struggle 1st few times - especially in the dark. The steps down from the parking space to the door are a little steep and slippery with no hand rail. Again those less mobile may have problems.

Really lovely, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Quite remote to walk to anything quickly (20-30 mins walk to really nice pub)but very beautiful area and very good access to lots of great places by car nearby. Owners are right next door but do not in any way make their presence known. Very nice people.
