A lovely cottage with everything we needed. Also a downstairs WC which isn't mentioned in the description which was useful.

Love this house as its so relaxing. It's the second time we've stayed and we are planning to go again in 2018. It's comfortable with everthing you would have in your own home. The owners are lovely and if you have any problems they sort them our straight away. Cant wait to go back.

Windmill cottage was lovely, well equipped and immaculately clean. Garden was a great size and my 2 springer spaniels loved the freedom it gave them. We loved the log burner in the evenings. The only downside I would say would be the noise from the students at the middle school next door as we went on holiday at the beginning of the Scottish summer holidays and the English schools were still in. So if I return it would be at the end of July or August but it was still a great holiday 😊😊

lovely spotless cottage with everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Unfortunately spoilt by the surrounding area it is sited in. Area appears run down, noisy road runs along the side and school at the other side.

The cottage was lovely, would very much recommend it - well appointed and within easy reach of Amble amenities. The only reasons we are unlikely to return are that there are other parts of Northumberland we would like to explore and would like to be nearer a beach.
