We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were able to entertain old friends for lunch and visit family who live in Plymouth. We took our dog Tassy for walks on the moor which wall enjoyed. It was the first time we had taken our dog on holiday with us and proved very successful. The Burrator Inn was welcoming and the food good.

Ideal setting and very convenient for walking on the moor, very comfortable but it was a shame that the rayburn was no longer working and the fire in the lounge was not yet connected as it was very wet weather the weeks we were there. But this will not stop us from staying there again as we found the cottage one of the best which we have stayed in with the safe enclosed garden for the dogs. Although it was close to the main road it was very quiet and relaxing inside the cottage and we enjoyed our stay.

Great cottage for dog owners. The garden is very safe and the floors are easy to keep clean. The upstairs double bed is difficult to access as it is very high and in an alcove. The downstairs shower was uncomfortably hot on the coldest setting. The village pub is friendly, welcomes dogs and does good food. This is a great area for walking and we would certainly visit again.

Response on behalf of the owner; I am delighted you found the cottage to your liking. Thank you for your comments. It is true the upstairs king-size bed is a “captain’s bed” and is raised up. I am sorry about the hot water on the downstairs shower that has now been lowered. I do hope we will see you again in the future.

Perfect. It has all you need. We especially liked the secure garden for the dog or kids and the pub next door which has great food and a friendly atmosphere!
