Surrounded by picturesque villages including Lavenham, famous for its medieval buildings and antique shops.

These renovated old farm buildings exude charm, with exposed beams and oak floors, and are set in the most idyllic location amidst the owner’s 350-acre working farm. Adjoining one another, they are surrounded by a moat and rolling Suffolk countryside, and provide an ideal ‘get away from it all country holiday retreat’, yet lie within easy driving distance of numerous places of interest.
An abundance of picturesque villages are close by including the old wool market town of Lavenham, famous for its Guildhall, medieval buildings and antique shops. The historic market town of Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Hadleigh and the races and stud farms at Newmarket are all easily accessible. The Suffolk and Norfolk Coasts, the Constable Countryside of Dedham Vale and the stunning university city of Cambridge are well worth visiting. Shop and pub 2 miles.

Living/dining room with rugs on terracotta-tiled floor, French doors to enclosed patio. Farmhouse-style kitchen area with terracotta-tiled floor. Double bedroom (5ft bed). Twin bedroom. Bathroom with shower attachment and toilet. Beamed throughout.

Lovely, cozy cottage with everything we needed for our stay. We all enjoyed the hottub overlooking the moat. Games room was a great success. All the grounds were looked after well and were safe. The only negative was the helicopters from the local airbase flying up until 10pm, which might unsettle some children. We all loved Willow Cottage :)

A beautiful part of the country; the cottages are a real 'get away from it all' treat. We enjoyed the local dog walks, the fantastic play barn and having a private hot tub. It was a real bonus to have a secure garden area too. Jo was very welcoming but unobtrusive and the cottage was homely and spotless. Willows Cottage is small, but very cosy - it's not ultra modern or perhaps as luxurious as some holiday homes but, as a result, we felt very comfortable with two kids and our dog and the views across the moat from every room, as well as the proper country feel, made for a fabulous break. We ventured to Sutton Hoo, Framlingham Castle and Colchester Zoo - all 45 mins drive but through picture box villages and gorgeous countryside. Thank you for a super stay!

We had a lovely stay. Delightfully quiet and lots of wildlife to spot. Would be cramped if taking a child. We had baby with us and just about room. No dishwasher but that was not a problem for us Owners helpful and friendly but when needed but otherwise do not disturb you. All in all a great place for a quiet and restful break and the hot tub was bliss 😊
