Great cottage. New sofa required, and would benefit from broadband due to poor signal. Lovely little place, and would be happy to return.

Central location for making lots of trips in all directions in the lovely Angus region. Cottage is next to a small but fairly busy road in the daytime. Inside, the livingroom and bedrooms are comfortable as well as the very recently renovated bathroom. Kitchen is cosy but quite old and could do with some renovation which is planned for next year as the owner told us. The garden is small and could certainly be made to look more attractive. For the modern, in particular the foreign tourist, wifi would be very handy. Nearby is a small local shop and fish&chips , bigger supermarkt few minutes by car. All in all we had a lovely time, also helped by absolutely glorious weather!

The cottage needs a lot of attention, particularly to cleanliness of floors, carpets and furniture. There was a fusty smell in the bathroom and the shower certainly had seen better days. The cottage advertisement said it was suitable for seven people - at a squeeze I would say. The positive was its location. A great place for travelling around the area in all directions. I would go back to the area but not to this particular cottage.
