The cottage was very well equipped and was very clean. Views were fantastic. The owner made us feel very welcome. The fresh homemade scones she left for us were delicious. There was plenty to do in the area and our whole party loved it all.

We had a fabulous week in this stunningly beautiful and unspoilt part of Ireland. The house was big enough to take our family group of 7 including 2 small children, without us feeling like we were getting in each others way. Very quiet, away from any roads, so safe and peaceful, but close enough to the local main town, Skibereen, for the bigger shops etc. The real gem is the large front conservatory room, with stunning views right across the bay and into the distance - even in poor weather, you could just sit there for hours reading and and absorbing the views. We all agreed we would love to go back one day - we met up with family who had traveled over from the USA so it was a great base for all of us. The house has all the basics you need, and we were met on arrival with a mountain of delicious home made scones! The decor could probably do with a bit of updating in places but scored well for overall comfort and cleanliness.

Wonderful views, great accommodation the only slightly annoying feature was the lack of water pressure to the showers. This would not stop us returning as everything else made this a holiday to remember.
