Had a great stay here, ideal location as it wasn’t to far from York, but was very quiet! Had everything that we needed and was very clean, and the owners were lovely! Would definitely come again x

We stayed here 3 nights and enjoyed it immensely. This unit is spotless and it felt like everything was brand new. There is a private entrance and a little outdoor table and chairs to enjoy the abundant bird songs in the neighborhood in the nice weather. The hosts could not have been nicer and the neighborhood is quiet with a friendly & charming feel. There is a small grocery store nearby and a pub although we didn't make it there. Next time we will! The drive into the center of York didn't take long, so it was the best of both worlds - country (village really) and city all in one. We highly recommend the Wild Boar Cottage.

Very friendly welcome. On my own so plenty of room for one. Handy for York with good bus service.
