This is our third visit and this time it just wasn't the same. The owners were on holiday so no friendly usual welcome. Also we are a family still no travel cot or high chair available so not very child friendly we travelled by train from London bringing a travel cot is always hard they eventually arranged one only once we had struggled to bring ours! we love it here but just didn't feel the same this time. The cottage is beautiful although seems to have a doggy smell in main bedroom :( great location and owners are lovely better when they are there.

Stayed here several times when visiting my elderly parents. Very comfortable, well equipped cottage, in a quiet area, with lovely garden, and most helpful owners. Most recent trip was during a cold spell - the cottage was beautifully warm.

Had a great time away. Not a bad distance from town centre and it is a nice walk. But no free Wifi so couldnt look up activities but a great cosy cottage and really friendly owners.

Whyte Cottage is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped with a lovely garden and conservatory. We were given a very warm and informative welcome plus lovely cakes! Although the owners, Veronica and Tony, live next door they were never intrusive and always happy to have a chat and offer advice when asked. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break.

this has got to be one of the lovliest cottages we have stayed at,it was well equipped and so comfortable ,the photo of whyte cottage doesn't do it justice really, the owners Veronica and Tony were very welcoming and definitely not intrusive, but were available for information or whatever if needed, Location was good too about 2 mins walk to the bus into Hastings and a good service. it was a handy location for all the trips out we wanted to do.and Whyte cottage is very dog friendly, with even dog towels provided,In short,BRILLIANT.,also can I add that if anyone is disabled it is suitable,in my opinion,

It's a wonderful cottage, exactly what we wanted. Spacious, clean, well furnished but not too fancy or modern. Our 13-year-old son was delighted to see a vintage collection of films on VHS tapes. He had to ask me to explain how a VHS tape works first :).
