The Tissington Cycle Trail is just 120 yards from this former barn, with walks along Wolfscote Dale and Beresford Dale nearby.

This spacious former barn has been sympathetically converted to provide the ideal holiday accommodation for the larger family group. No longer a working farm, and attached to the owners’ own home, Whitehouse Farm enjoys beautiful views across the Dales. Heathcote is a quiet hamlet, just one and quarter miles from the popular village of Hartington with its pretty village pond and famed cheese shop, as well as walks along Wolfscote Dale and Beresford Dale alongside the River Dove. Tissington Cycle Trail is just 120 yards, and there is a wealth of fine scenery, historic houses such as Chatsworth, Haddon House and Hardwick Hall. Livelier is Matlock Bath with its cable cars, Gullivers Kingdom and Alton Towers, whilst the attractive spa town of Buxton and market town of Bakewell are all within a 25 minute drive. Whitehouse Farm is the ideal base to visit all the attractions the Peak District National Park has to offer for all ages. Groceries can be delivered on request. Shops 1¼ miles, pub ¾ mile.

The farm nicely accommodated our party of 9 adults and 3 children - 5 and under. We all enjoyed ourselves and made good use of the facilities - we played cricket, swingball and chase in the garden, and enjoyed the hot tub! We appreciated the good beds, mattresses and bedding, and the capacious dishwasher! We were concerned that we couldn't reach you by 'phone several times before we came h Our brief holiday was made more enjoyable

Had a wonderful time. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Was really lovely. The only real downside was the hot tub was out of action for most the week needing a new filter. But would recommend.

Lovely farm house and brilliant location. Hot tub amazing but the broadband was painfully slow at the venue and the CD/Radio player didn't work either so there was no way for us to listen to music at a hen do! Other than that, the owner was more than accommodating and friendly and the farm house was beautiful

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased you had such a great time. Unfortunately, 5 mbs is the norm for broadband speeds in the countryside but is usually sufficient for checking emails etc. The CD player did work and it is a shame you did not ask me to show you how it works.

Could not find any fault with the property. It was very well equipped, very clean, the beds really comfy, lots of indoor games to play, plenty of parking, nice and warm.
