The cottage is gorgeous and the owner who lives next door is so lovely! My only complaint is that the bath can be a bit temperamental as it's Victorian I think, and the water sometimes drains away because the plug is hard to position perfectly. A few spiders popped up too, but luckily my fella isn't a chicken like me. This was our second visit and we will be going again, the place is dreamy.

It was perfect The views from the cottage were amazing, looking out to sea over Robin Hoods Bay, just lovely. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The cottage only has a bath, which is lovely but, a shower would have been nice which was our only small negative. We would like to return in the future.

What a gorgeous place, stunning location. Bit tricky to find on a dark rainy Friday night, but expert directions on the phone from the lovely hostess and we were soon there. Lovely cottage with perfect furnishings in keeping with the property. It's just a shame we were only there for 2 nights and as we were busy working in Whitby for the weekend we didn't get much time to spend at the cottage. But it was great to wake up to those amazing views. The hostess was so friendly, we felt like old friends within minutes. Possibly the only thing that could be improved is maybe the provision of a pint of milk and some teabags would have been welcome when we arrived. But its by no means a major issue, we should have brought some with us instead of assuming

A charming owner who is very obliging. Cottage is in a beautiful location overlooking Robin Hoods Bay. An ideal base for visiting the many local beauty spots and scenic walks.

perfectly located looking out onto the valley and coast beyond. Furnished as you would your own home rather than the usual rented cottage starkness. bed could do with being more comfortable and best to take your own pans if you plan to cook. Other than that, perfect.
