We were booked to arrive in late October, and the weather forecast wasn't looking good with the imminent arrival of ex-hurricane Ophelia. Our planned ferry crossing was going to catch the worst of it, so we looked at getting the earlier crossing. Julie couldn't have been more understanding, or accommodating. Her communications were excellent and she let us know that, if needed, we could arrive early to fit in with the earlier ferry. Julie and her husband popped in later in the day to check we had settled in and to make sure the house hadn't suffered any ill effects from Ophelia. The house itself is fabulous, so comfortable and well equipped.

Beautiful, modern cottage with large garden and close to the beach. Excellent facilities, information and communication from the owner. Clean and well presented with everything we needed for our holiday. So good we have booked again for next year.

We stayed here with our extended family during a vacation trip to Ireland and just fell in love with the place. Sitting out on the back deck enjoying wine, or just enjoying time at one of the nearby pubs was wonderful. The house is also well situated for easy day trips to Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny, and the Copper Coast. Julie was super and provided us with great information about local sites which we also enjoyed -- don't miss Tintern Abbey and Colclough Gardens! Would definitely return and recommend to friends.
