We enjoyed our stay here but we never met the owners. There was a slight problem with the flushing mechanism in the en-suit toilet meaning we had to use the main bathroom and there was no string on the light switch in the main bathroom so we could not turn the light on but otherwise we were very pleased with the property and would go again. A better sign at the end of the drive would make it easier to find as we went by the entrance twice before we found it. This a problem because the postcode covers quite a large are.

This is the second time that we have stayed at this property. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and was very suitable for our disabled mother who felt very comfortable, and able to get around without worry, something we have seldom been able to find before. When we first went we couldn't believe how spacious it was, and cllose to so many lovely places. Railway station only about 2 miles away so made a nice alternative when we didn't want to drive. If you get the chance...............go

Very spacious property considering only classed as a house for 5 people. Location good as lots to see and do. The main bedroom mattress wasn't exactly comfortable and furniture a tad dated. There were bulbs out and after doing a load of washing one night came to use tumble dryer to find it broken but there was no real alternatives to drying the clothes as the house had no washing line. Owner did say we could use their line but not as practical as having own facilities. The one thing that really let down the property was lack of cleanliness. The dust and cobwebs everywhere showed it hadn't been properly cleaned in i don't know how long and as a asthma sufferer you need a house to be clean. I think the property would benefit from a professional cleaner coming in after every stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week. The weather was excellent. Jane, the owner is very bubbly and enthusiastic and was especially helpful, lending us a table tennis table for most of the week, with absolutely no prompting, apart from seeing our attempts to put up a TT net on the outside table. Shame the price had gone up on last year, but it was still an ideal holiday, although 2 weeks would be better. While Westbury and Warminster were uninspiring, Westbury offers a pleasant little golf course and convenient shops. The location is, however, excellent for visiting further afield, into Somerset, Bath, and quite a few National Trust sites. Hope to be there again.

My wife and I took our daughter, son-in-law and 3 month old grandson on holiday. The cottage was well set up for our needs. Everything is on one level, there are two bathrooms and a cloakroom. The master bedroom is roomy, the second bedroom is a bit cramped, and there is also a single bedroom. We hoped to be able to walk with the pushchair to the town a mile or so away, but the pavement runs out halfway, so the car was essential. Good location for driving to places like Stonehenge and Longleat. We would definitely recommend the Royal Oak pub.

It was a wonderful stay at the White Horse House. I love the big kitchen, the new bath room. It was nice to have a dishwasher, a washmaschine, a dryer. I like the views from the windows. I love my single bedroom with a good mattress. To walk arround the area was beautiful.
