3rd time here. We like the area and love the quieter location of the cottage. It rained a fair bit, so we had a couple of days most of which were in the cottage. The golf is nice and close, and we used the sports centre, which was very good. As National Trust members this forms a little bit of our holiday, and there are plenty of local towns to visit.

We had a great holiday down in Wiltshire - this is one of the best rommiest cottages we've stayed in. The cottage doesn't have wifi but it was possible for us to access a full 4G signal via EE. Longleat was 10minutes away. You could spend two days here easily. We went with three kids - we'd recommend the Hungry Horse (0.5 miles away from cottage)family pub for large platefuls and fantastic value.

Well equipped clean bungalow. Owners really friendly but leave you to it but there if need anything which us really good. Really suited us as dad in wheelchair. Easy access via 3or 4 doors. Well situated for places like Wells, Salisbury etc all within striking distance. Even Poole only abt hour away. Would definitely stay again if in Wilts. Countryside superb and lots of walking sites if capable. Local country club only 10 -15 min walk

Very nice holiday home, spotlessly clean and very friendly owners for whom nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend, and lots of things to see and do in the area, though not so much in walking distance so really do need own transport.

We enjoyed our stay here but we never met the owners. There was a slight problem with the flushing mechanism in the en-suit toilet meaning we had to use the main bathroom and there was no string on the light switch in the main bathroom so we could not turn the light on but otherwise we were very pleased with the property and would go again. A better sign at the end of the drive would make it easier to find as we went by the entrance twice before we found it. This a problem because the postcode covers quite a large are.

This is the second time that we have stayed at this property. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and was very suitable for our disabled mother who felt very comfortable, and able to get around without worry, something we have seldom been able to find before. When we first went we couldn't believe how spacious it was, and cllose to so many lovely places. Railway station only about 2 miles away so made a nice alternative when we didn't want to drive. If you get the chance...............go

Very spacious property considering only classed as a house for 5 people. Location good as lots to see and do. The main bedroom mattress wasn't exactly comfortable and furniture a tad dated. There were bulbs out and after doing a load of washing one night came to use tumble dryer to find it broken but there was no real alternatives to drying the clothes as the house had no washing line. Owner did say we could use their line but not as practical as having own facilities. The one thing that really let down the property was lack of cleanliness. The dust and cobwebs everywhere showed it hadn't been properly cleaned in i don't know how long and as a asthma sufferer you need a house to be clean. I think the property would benefit from a professional cleaner coming in after every stay.
