Delightful and characterful cottage with superb facilities for a wheelchair user. Quiet location, well placed for visiting the coast and many inland attractions such as Ickworth House, Sutton Hoo and Bury St Edmunds. Miss Kitchen was very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed a much needed relaxing break .

Contrary to previous reviews there was inadequate introduction to the cottage & facilities. We barely saw the owner during our stay. Information was provided but was not collated in one folder. It was only by chance on the third day of our stay that we found the password for the wifi, which was irritating as knowing we would probably not get a mobile signal, we had hoped to stay in touch with people by email and messenger. The hot water temperature in the taps was too high, danger of scalding. One of the radiators barely heated up, we did make the owner aware of this. The description and photo of the cottage needs updating as there is a sunroom covering the two front doors. On the photo it looks as though there is a hedge dividing the garden, which is no longer there.

Lovely well kept cottage with friendly owner. You don't go somewhere like this expecting many local amenities so the lack of them is not an issue. Closest shop is around 3 miles away so best to get provisions on your way. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Lovely cosy, warm and quirky cottage. The layout was perfect for our 3 generations with two separate staircases so we all had our own areas. Had everything we needed and was very warm. Pub next door was fabulous, friendly, good food and quiet. Beware though that it is closed on a Monday. Lots to see and do close by including Framlingham Castle EH, Aldeburgh, Thorpeness boating lake to name a few. Would definitely return if visiting this area again.
