Wheal Coates is a pet friendly barn conversion finished to four star standard with easy access to the Cornish coastline.

These holiday homes, converted from stables, are set within mature gardens and grounds and are finished to a very good standard. A perfect location to explore Cornwall and a short walk away from the coastal path. Set in shared grounds but with their own terraces, these properties have views across open countryside. St Agnes is a quaint coastal village with shops, sandy coves and beaches, stunning walks, beachside pubs serving home cooked food and locally brewed ales. The North Cornwall Coast is minutes away and Porthtowan with its sandy beach is close by, as is Perranporth, a traditional family resort with rock pools, sand dunes, beach bar, surf hire and golf. Newquay is a short drive and has a sea life centre, zoo and family attractions including Creally Adventure Park and Dairyland. Truro, Padstow, St Ives, Fowey, the Roseland Peninsula and Land’s End are all easily reached. Horse riding, cycling, sea fishing, boat trips and kayaking locally. Shop 21/2 miles, pub and restaurant 1/4 mile.

    Wheal Coates is a lovely property in beautiful surroundings. We a nice welcome from the owner Marlene who was very friendly and definitely made the property a home from home. Good location - although you do need a car

    Wheal Coates is in an excellent position for touring either north or south coast's and is situated in a beautiful quiet position. As a family we had a very pleasent holiday.

    Excellent cottage, very clean, spacious, friendly owners. Small sink in the spacious wet room was difficult to wash and shave in -a normal sized basin would make more sense. Filter coffee machine and some means of listening to music (radio/cd player) would be nice. One toilet roll in each bathroom did not last a week, a spare would be nice and cheap.

    Lovely place and great accommodation, friendly owners fantastic time was had by all. ....only drawback was no wifi and phone signal for 3 was very intermittent....but having said that we have just book again for this year.
