Great Holiday Cottage. Owner excellent and very very friendly. Cottage caters for wheelchair users and loads of space if all berths used. If I wanted to be really picky I would ask that the owners look at getting the freezer inside the holiday let but other than that it was excellent.

The accommodation was excellent and the owners were so welcoming... leaving us a cream tea and treats for the dog on arrival... would definitely stay there again

We had a fantastic time at the cottage. It was clean, well presented with a large, beautiful garden which our twin daughters loved playing in. We had a welcome cream tea provided on arrival waiting in the fridge which was a lovely touch. The owner lived close by and was always happy to help, she was fantastic. We were a short drive away from the main A-route A30 to drive around Cornwall. We liked that both bedrooms on the first floor had en-suites with showers and a wet room downstairs. We would recommend this cottage to anybody and definitely want to return.

This cottage is really lovely one of the best we have stayed at in Cornwall. The owner is lovely, she is very friendly and makes you feel at home. Always on hand if you need something. A real friend. We will be going back again next year. Already booked.

We enjoyed two fabulous weeks at Wheal Coates despite the slightly damp weather! It is a very well equipped property with an exceedingly welcoming and helpful host. Marlene was happy to answer all of our questions, recommended dog walks and even provided dog treats on arrival! (As well as cream tea and flowers!). Even after we left Marlene helped us out by posting a watch and sunglasses that we had left behind - 5 star service with a smile! There are several beautiful beaches and miles of lovely walks and good pubs and restaurants within easy reach of Wheal Coates - a great place to stay.

This was our second holiday at Wheal Coates. The cottages are dog friendly so we could take our cavapoo with us too. Plenty of grounds for the two grandsons to play and toys also provided. The cottages are conveniently located for visiting both coasts north and south and also to the west . Ideally we would have liked a bath in one of the three en-suite/wet rooms .As a family we will have outgrown a six bed cottage next year but would strongly recommend this holiday cottage.

Lovely clean cottage. We loved the closeness to local pubs, the coast and costal path. Would have liked a slightly bigger double bed, we are used to a king at home!
