Ambleside is also, however, equally suitable for those wishing to spend the majority of their days on the magnificent fells and to return to quality accommodation at the end of your day
The owners of this second floor apartment, are lovers of the great outdoors themselves and wish only that their guests will enjoy the excellent facilities they have provided here at Westside. The lengthy stone mullioned windows, recently exposed to their full potential during major refurbishment, allow plenty of light to flood through the open plan living space whilst offering guests good views of the surrounding fell range and the opportunity to plan your route for the coming day. The well fitted bathroom is on hand to help soak away those aches and pains whilst a quality and comfortable king size bed will ensure a good night’s rest in readiness for the day ahead.

Bathroom: With tiled floor, shower over bath, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Under floor and instant eletric heating, eletricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Private parking for one car. Sorry, no children.

    This flat is in a fantastic spot, just a short walk to the center , it’s central to other places like Keswick and Windermere. The flat is cosy when the heating got up to a good temperature, only problems we had was the couch / bed settee was very uncomfortable. We also had a problem getting in , we parked in front of the building and tried unlocking the door with the four keys provided with no luck, when we rang cottage’s.com we were told the door to the flat was around the side under the fire exit, non of this was in the instructions sent to us , also this door is left open 24 hr a day so I was trying to open a open door ? All in all we enjoyed our stay and the few problems we had would not put us off stopping again

    An excellent flat in great position in Ambleside. Well equipped, nicely furnished and decorated, a real home from home. And a parking spot!! What else could we ask for? We will be back.
