We were disappointed that the location was on the edge of a large housing estate, when we thought it would be a more rural setting. Handy for the bus into Bath. Well appointed cottage, but dark inside. We needed to keep the lights on even on a sunny day. Under floor heating easy to operate, but the boiler made a frightening 'whoosh' noise whenever it fired up.

Perfect. Everything had been thought of and the cottage was spotless. It looked brand new! It's a short drive/ taxi ride into Bath and the village has some small shops for the basics within a 5 min walk. The hosts were super helpful too!

I stayed at this cottage for half term with my teenage daughter. The standard of the accommodation is very high - and it was a very comfortable and well-equipped home from home. Importantly - it was warm and cosy! The location of the cottage makes it ideal for exploring both Bath and areas such as Cheddar (about 40 mins drive) and Stonehenge (about 1 hrs drive). The cottage is well serviced by an excellent bus service into Bath, which meant not having to drive into the city. The bus ride is less than 20 mins and a frequent service operates until very late (allowing a night out in Bath). The owners live close by and were available to help (if needed). They provided an excellent welcome pack - which gave us a very nice full English breakfast on our first morning. I would highly recommend this cottage - because of its high quality accommodation and close proximity to Bath. I hope to return.

Fantastic clean and very welcoming cottage with friendly and very helpful owners on hand if you need them! We visited Bath for a family re-union over Christmas and were delighted to find this lovely cottage in the village where I grew up!! Therefore a trip down memory lane as well. If you don't know the area, the delights of Bath can be reached by a reasonable walk from Weston via the lovely Royal Victoria Park and the Royal Crescent before you reach lots of super shops and other tourist haunts in the city. There is also a very good bus service from the village and there are local services in the village such as a small supermarket, cafe and pub. We had a lovely time!

We recently had a lovely holiday in Bath and stayed in this wonderful old farm house cottage. The cottage itself was beautiful with soft furnishings throughout to snuggle up on the cold nights, and modern appliances throughout. The owners (who live next door and were super friendly and easy to talk to) were very helpful and even provided a few bits and bobs as a "welcome pack" on arrival (essentials such as milk, bread and so on). The cottage was easy to find, cosy at night, and a great location for travel into Bath with a convenient bus connection which ran late. We got to stay out and see the xmas market and then come back and curl up on the sofa and watch TV in the evenings. It was exactly what we needed and we would thoroughly recommend it.

Extremely well finished cottage originally for owner ‘s daughter so lots of considerate attention to detail. Warm and comfortable, good wifi and tv and very well equipped one-person kitchen. Only minor quibble was noisy fridge which had constant ‘stomach rumblings” competing with tv. Excellent shower, firm mattress and lovely welcome pack. Nice, little private patio with seating and bbq although not used by us in late September. Owners very helpful but unintrusive. Actually part of a Grade II barn conversion. K Space for car in cul-de-sac quiet lane. Nearby bustop with frequent buses that take you to centre of Bath in twenty minutes. Highly recommended.

A holiday cottage where the owners have thought about every convenience and put extra special effort into ensuring that their guests lack for nothing ! Their welcome pack is the most comprehensive ever in my experience and they are to be commended on that aspect. The cottage itself , lacked light and warmth and I wouldn't use it in the winter. A fire of some sort is needed. It is situated in an estate and the village lacked quality pubs and eateries.

Response on behalf of the owner: I appreciate your comments, as a listed building we were constrained as to adding and changing some features in the cottage. I'm sorry that you found it cold but an additional heater is available on request. Thank you very much for taking the time to giving us feedback.
