Lovely roomy cottage; only downside to holiday was like a few other previous visitors we got lost trying to locate the property for the first time as we were following directions given to us which were slightly incorrect.

Loved the idea of being on a working farm but there are a few horses and not much else. The property ammenities needs a bit of attention. Fridge/freezer door needs fixing; the toaster doesnt work properly; oven needs cleaning; 2 bedrooms had skylights that let loads of light in; tv's were small for the size of room; seating was stained; bedding needs replacing with 100% cotton (some was bobbly); cobwebs were in corners.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; The farm has a herd of pure bred Aberdeen Angus cattle which at this time of year are in the fields with their calves. At this time of year you will get cobwebs and spiders in barn conversations as soon as you clear them they are back hours later which unfortunately, is beyond my control. If you did not like the bedding it could have been changed if you had asked and if I had known about the toaster I would have replaced that as well. I take your point about the skylights but in the ten years this has never been raised. As we live on site we can rectify most things straight away. Thank you for your comments it was a shame I did not know at the time as I could have addressed your concerns. One of your party said they had really enjoyed their stay and would recommend us.
