I could not have picked a better cottage if I had tried. It was to be where I could relax with friends in the middle of a long distance walk so i was looking forward to it, as you can imagine. I was not disappointed. The view was stunning looking west over Herefordshire. The neighbours were friendly and the father of the owner lived nearby so although we had problems with the keypad help was on hand. It was comfortable, well appointed, plenty of linen and towels with a much needed washing machine! Even though vehicular access was a few minutes away which could present problems unloading there was a very special and useful way of unloading-by wheelbarrow. One of my party was on crutches and even she had no problem walking along the even grassy track from the car. It is in West Malvern, not Great Malvern, so you would have to drive to shops and eating places. Also, at the time, there seemed to be an unresolved issue about parking so it would be worth enquiring. However, what a heavenly place!

Lovely cottage and stunning views! Very well equipped but I would have liked to have some hooks behind bedroom and bathroom door (s) Especially in small bedroom where there is no place at all to hang anything. Parking is a problem as on our last day we were confronted by a Polish guy who demanded £60 as we had parked in front of his drive which was not clear in the dark. I know we have to park at our own risk but seeing that the pub is now going to be demolished, parking should be allowed as parking in the road is dangerous. In the end we paid him £20.- and he told us that everybody paid him to park there!!A nice little earner! It was a lovely week and we did lots but the walk to and from the cottage was a bit hazardous for my older brother. It was very nice that we had some help from local people with our luggage. Also I think it would have been nice for Mary to have come up and introduced herself to us.

Very pretty location, the path to get to the cottage is long - we were lucky it wasn't raining otherwise it would have been horrible trying to wheel a suitcase along 200 yds or so. However, well worth the walk since the views are stunning, the cottage is very clean and comfortable, well equipped and extremely quiet and peaceful. The electric fire in the living room is warm and gives a nice glow, but it's a shame it's noisy. The plumbing is also a bit noisy, so if you are staying in the double bedded room, with the hot water tank in the cupboard, be aware that there will be gurgling! We would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely, restful weekend. The cottage was surprisingly warm and cosy which was a relief, and very clean. It must be lovely in the spring.
