Located in a tranquil, leafy part of Church Stretton, West Windows is lovely place to stay. The owner was very pleasant and helpful and even supplied a Christmas tree and all the decorations. The view from the front bedroom window is gobsmackingly good, with the hills of the Long Mynd parading themselves across the horizon.

A lovely secluded house within easy reach of many places of historical interest. As a member of English Heritage I got my money's worth.

While West Windows was perfectly fine, we wouldn't choose to return to stay there again. The location was lovely and we had some lovely walks in the surrounding hills. We were close enough to town to make shopping easy yet far enough away to make the walk there enjoyable. The house was quiet and the sleeping arrangements worked well. My children were disappointed that there was no internet access. The dog was safe in the garden and it was good that the house did not front a main road. Overall fine.

Lovely setting. Private road in very bad condition. Drive too narrow for todays big cars. Parked over dropped kerb to drive. Neighbours did not like as they used dropped kerb to park their second car. Lack of Wi-Fi inconvenient- not for our leisure but as all attraction leaflet now say Refer to our website. In view of Shropshire's dire phone performance we could not refer to that. The house and the location and in property ammeneties were as expected.

It was just fine for our stay in Church Stretton- very clean and comfortable. There was no fancy kitchen equipment but that was no problem. It was very good value for money. The quiet neighbourhood was a great asset. There were splendid walks that started just near the house-great for us and the dog.

Spacious house in an excellent location for walking. equipped with everything we needed, but felt like a house we would have rented 20 years ago - could do with updating and adding wifi.

Excellent location for town and countryside walks. There are beautiful views of the Long Mynd and we had a most enjoyable week. The house is comfortable and cosy.
