Lovely cottage done to a high spec, clean and comfortable. Only small gripes were lack of instructions for things like wifi and dvd player.

A beautiful house with wonderful interior. Log fire, kitchen and bathroom were main highlights. Slightly remote but that is stated in the description. Bats, deer and cats all could be seen from the front door. Would book again but as usual, the weather was predictably dull!

A truly beautiful and luxurious property. The owner left a large variety of food items for our use which was completely unexpected and very welcome. We felt the location was perfect for a variety of activities from walking to exclusive shopping, sea plane flights to distillery tours. Lots of places to eat good quality and excellent value meals including a Michelin star restaurant within half an hours drive. It far exceeded our expectations and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

West Lodge is a wonderful cottage - every home comfort you could think of is there! it's all very cosy and surprisingly high-tech! the cooker and kitchen is perfect and the bathrooms are lovely too. We had a wonderful week there in September. The cottage is situated on the edge of Ballikinrain castle and is down a lovely lane so that you can walk along there with your dog. Would definitely recommend West Lodge!
