We were comfortable, warm & cared for exceptionally well. There was so much space, the kitchen was the best equipped kitchen we have ever had the pleasure of using in any UK holiday let. The owners were extremely considerate & informative. Thank you !

Had a lovely stay at the West End House. Large house. Welcomed by a home made cake. Little extras like teabags and sugar etc. Owners were very welcoming and helpful.

Our second stay and highly recommended again. Hosts very welcoming and lovely quiet setting. Good pub 1 mile walk and Beccles has a good selection of shops and places to eat.

The web site really does not do this property justice. We much enjoyed our stay in a property which has been tastefully modernised without losing the ambience of a farm house, but with every modern convenience. The opportunity to sit outside in tranquillity or wander the footpaths was delightful and also to wander among the delightful villages of this part of Suffolk takes some beating. The standard of management of the property probably owes much to it being done by the proprietors in the contiguous cottage and shows in the fastidious cleanliness and attention to detail which does not always happen when contracted out.

Lovely house. Spacious, clean and well equipped. Easy drive to Southwold, Beccles and the wonderful nature reserve at Minsmere. Also within easy reach of the Norfolk Broads. It's a great place to stay and explore East Anglia.

One of the best holiday rentals we have stayed in. The owners were very welcoming and the house was spacious, spotless with everything provided that you would need - a home from home. The surrounding area is very pretty and a fairly easy drive to many of the attractions in Suffolk and Norfolk. We also spent a day walking around the footpaths across the farm which tired our two young sons out. We enjoyed our week's stay and would happily return.

Absolute Perfection We throughly enjoyed our week at West End House. The hosts are lovely, after our initial welcome we were left to our own devices with the knowledge that if we needed them for anything they were there. The house is huge and I don't think the pictures do it justice. I thought, when looking at the picture of the front of the house, we'd have half of it but you get all of it! The house was clean and comfortable with everything you need for a holiday. Lucy said when equipping the house she'd tried to put in what her and her husband expect from a holiday cottage when they go away and she's succeeded. There was even a little pair of binoculars and a bird book so a complete novice like myself could identify the birds using the bird feeders in the garden. The house is in a really peaceful location right at the end of a track (easily drivable) and well sign posted from the road. Although this is a working farm we weren't disturbed at all, especially in the morning with the bedroom window wide open: it was silent! We would definitely return to West End House if we decided to holiday in Suffolk again.

Beautiful house with everything you could need in it and so clean as well. Owners were so friendly and helpful. Stayed here with my husband and 90 year old mother, the layout of the bedrooms with en- suites worked great for us. We could only stay for a long weekend but would have loved to have stayed longer. We will return in the future as by far this is the best holiday let we have been in. Thanks P.S The views from the windows are so lovely,
