There are lots of lovely things about this chalet. The location most of all, and it's well equipped and peaceful. The shower's great, the kitchen has everything you need, the telly works well and has lots of channels. The patio is just fabulous to sit on. However, sadly I have a temperamental middle-aged back and the bed was just not supportive enough for me, and, sadly, I found both the sofa and armchair really uncomfortable. It meant that I came to the end of my stay with an aching back. So, regretfully, I wouldn't be able to stay here again because I need a firm mattress and a reasonable chair. Everything else was brilliant. So sorry, to be saying something negative, because in every other way it is five star.

The chalet is very comfortable - only reason for giving 8 rather than 10 is that it would be misleading to make it sound the same as a luxury cottage. The owners have made great use of the space and everything worked well. It is part of a small chalet park in a wonderful, quiet place surrounded by gardens, trees and wildlife. This particular chalet is good because it's on the end of a row, with a deck but all of them look as if they'd be good to stay in. There are great walks from the door, beaches within walking distance, a little supermarket in the village and reliable (though infrequent) buses so it's fine for people like us without a car, although most people who were there seemed to have cars and there's lots of parking space.
