We had the most amazing holiday at Well Barn. The Barn itself is warm, well-equipped and full of handcrafted character- an exquisite restoration, surprising artistic touches everywhere. There is a delightful private garden and outdoor eating area which would be even better in a warmer month than October. We enjoyed water from the spring. As we're a musical family, it was lovely having the use of the grand piano and the opportunity to record some music. Our hosts Nigel and Margaret were warm and generous in their welcome. We very much enjoyed the area but, equally, coming home each evening to the cottage.

Wonderful first family holiday. The cottage was perfect. We loved the decor & the garden. The wood burner was a beautiful touch for the evenings when the little one was in bed. You can tell the place has been made & maintained with lots of love. Everything we needed was provided, including travel cot & high chair for the baby. Fresh coffee & instant, tea, milk, biscuits & wine also on arrival! Can't praise the place & the owner enough. Nigel was knowledgable, friendly & welcoming, even lending my partner with his own jumpers & overcoats (as he'd left his at home) & on departure, giving us a jar of their homemade jam. We will return at some stage I'm sure. Stay at Well Barn, you shan't regret it! Amazing location to stay & explore a wonderful part of our country.

We had a fantastic time at Well Barn. The property's beautiful and Nigel & Margaret were so welcoming. We had a lovely welcome package of milk, coffee and shortbread when we arrived and were given lots of useful advice about where to eat out, which beaches to visit, etc. We can't wait to go back again. 5 stars!!!

Woutside most ell Barn is an absolutely stunning cottage and built to a high standard full of personal touches for that home from home feeling. It is equipped with everything you could need and had a beautiful private cottage garden. We were fortunate with the weather and ate breakfast and dinner outside most days. A perfect cottage in the perfect location for exploring north Cornwall and South Devon.
