We loved our stay, it was comfortable and home from home and perfectly situated for our adventures in Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby, to name two. We liked being out in the countryside and didn't mind travelling to Cloughton or Scarborough for our groceries, just worked it in round our travels. We will definitely stay again next time we are holidaying in this part of Yorkshire.

As always a wonderful weekend away at Cart Cottage. The cottage is perfect for a break away with the dogs. We can't wait to go back!

The cottage was cosy, extremely clean and was a great base while we visited the area. We stayed for five days with our two dogs. The kitchen area and bathroom were modern. The bathroom in particular looked as if it had been recently refurbished. There was a welcome pack with bacon, eggs, sausages, bread rolls, butter, jam, coffee, tea, sugar, milk and a bottle of orange juice, which was very nice.

its a lovely cottage and very cozy but theres things need doing. when it rained the wall in the lounge was wet and it was near plugs. Also power kept going off. but it was nice and would be 100% if this was rectified.
