Much, much better than the pictures suggest. Its a fabulous place to stay. An absolute bargain really at the price. Two items that may need considering for some is the absence of any real television signal which makes it unwatchable, The lovely owners may like to consider fitting a satellite dish instead. Secondly, the totally useless can opener. Unless its been replaced, take one with you. These are just tiny niggles, but if resolved It would have been perfect. Its first rate anyway. Would definitely go again.

Lovely house with good views of local area. Tea shop in Glaisdale and the small shops were very good but it was difficult to find parking at local places like Whitby,Staithes and Sandsend. You have To go out very early to get a parking place at Robin Hoods bay! We enjoyed our stay in the house and would recommend it for a week's stay but the parking was a bit iffy outside the house.

What a wonderful holiday home. There was nothing that the owners didn't provide and it was so clean, comfortable and cosy. From the welcome gifts to the thought of mini toiletries in the bathrooms and even the offer of board games, dvds and local leaflets to help you with your stay, there really was nothing else we needed Wayside felt like a real home from home and as for the games room, the 4 adults had more fun than the kids. We loved the views and friendly neighbours and would thoroughly recommend this holiday venue.

Fantastic location for all sorts of activities, a great walking location and lots of local places to visit. 10 miles from Whitby and lots of other coastal towns within easy reach. Great little village with a pub, shop and butchers, plus Beggars Bridge is great to take a look at. The cottage was very clean, tidy and well equipped, a bottle of red wine and biscuits were in place to welcome us. Big on suite bedrooms and underfloor heating in the kitchen. Wifi worked perfect all the time. Great views to front and a field to the rear. Kids loved the pingpong in the games shed.
