Fantastic location for all sorts of activities, a great walking location and lots of local places to visit. 10 miles from Whitby and lots of other coastal towns within easy reach. Great little village with a pub, shop and butchers, plus Beggars Bridge is great to take a look at. The cottage was very clean, tidy and well equipped, a bottle of red wine and biscuits were in place to welcome us. Big on suite bedrooms and underfloor heating in the kitchen. Wifi worked perfect all the time. Great views to front and a field to the rear. Kids loved the pingpong in the games shed.

Fabulous cottage filled with homely touches. Kitchen was so well equipped it made cooking a pleasure. Definitely more than a holiday cottage - this is a home away from home. Excellent!

A very comfortable cottage in an ideal location for walking in the North Yorks Moors and also ideal for travelling to the Yorks coast.

Really good property, well stocked and very clean. The pictures on the Internet do not do it justice. Had a really good week and would go again.

The kitchen/dining area was really well thought out and well equipped. The lounge was a good size, but disappointing as the furniture was well worn and the television etc. were very dated and small!! The upstairs king size bed was very low down and the mattress was very thin and worn, so in consequence was not very comfortable. The en-suite showers were too powerful (such a waste of hot water). We had some good walks locally and the area is very picturesque. We won't be returning as we have done those walks now and the access road was very winding and narrow, also the parking in front of the garage was very tight, the alternative would have been to park on the road.
