Great time! Our three grandsons enjoyed the pool, the rowing boat and the easy access to canoes and kayaks, and all that only twenty minutes from wonderful beaches. We enjoyed it all too! Very much.

I've scored Coot cottage a 9 overall. The cottage was great and the indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, and gym equipment an added bonus. We used the dinghy several times and the river was very quiet. Although the cottages are right next to the main A149 we did not hear much road traffic and it was only a short walk from the car. The pub across the road has a wonderful atmosphere and a great dining area with good menu. We had a very enjoyable week there even in October. The only comment I would make was that the back patio door did not seal very well so was a little draughty (although a curtain does cover the door), the bathroom door sticks on the tiling and could do with a little adjustment and the leather sofas are a little tired but not smelly or dirty, just crackling on the leather probably due to lack of cleaning with leather cream. We would definitely book again but when it's warmer
