A great cottage in the absolute middle of nowhere! Somehow centrally located if you're going to be exploring Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire coast lines! Well kitted out, could maybe be a little more cosy but it's all hard wearing and wipe clean for those muddy paws and dirty boots. Hot tub is great, outdoor spaces are lovely. Massive fenced field for walking the dogs. We had an amazing time here, it's a stunning part of the world and if you're going to be exploring lots of different coastal places this is a great hub.

We stayed here for Xmas 2016 (23rd Dec - 30th Dec) with our 2 dogs and it was amazing right from the moment we arrived, the owners left us a selection of nice goodies for Us and for the Dogs, the dogs loved there treats so much. It was my Birthday on Xmas eve so the wine and fizz went down a treat. The cottage is lovely and very cosy and warm, they have thought of everything, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need (even to cook an Xmas dinner). there is a Dab radio, tv with lots of channels and dvds, lots of board games and books. The hot tub is absolutely amazing, we was in it every day sometimes for hours, there is a huge field just 10 seconds walk from the front door which the dogs loved playing on. We went to a few lovely beaches which we all loved and are all under an hour drive away, no local supermarkets but tesco is only 40 mins drive away. The owners are very nice and very helpful if you need anything, they live close but you don't even know they there unless you need them. We loved every min we was there and will defo be going back again, The only small thing we would like changed is the bed as it was quite uncomfortable but wont stop us going back.

We had a great week in Yr Hen Ysgubor cottage, brilliant field to exercise the dog. Hot tub was fantastic and in its own private room. No local shop or pub so bring what you need or be prepared to travel. As people have mentioned settee and bed could do with an update as not the comfiest. Beaches at Pendine and Newport are great. Welcome treats were appreciated. Would definitely stay again as owners were lovely and very welcoming.

Overall the cottage was perfectly adequate although the mattress on the double bed was very uncomfortable and needs replacing. Nice welcoming touch for both humans and dogs.
