Waterwheel was in an ideal location for a base from which to explore. Situated in the centre of the village it was convenient for the pubs and shop. The decor was tastefully done and there was everything you could possibly need

Only 1 fault. Lighting in living area. A couple of floor standing lamps would make it more homely. Having main lights on was too much. We used a lamp from a bedroom for this purpose. Other than this superb in every way

The area around Chipping is stunning, as is the village itself. The Waterwheel is in the centre of the village close to two pubs, three churches and the shop. The owners were helpful and welcoming but not obtrusive. This accommodation had everything we needed; beds were comfortable, good range of kitchen equipment, good sized bathroom, clean and well appointed. The only word of caution is that there are a number of stairs to access the apartment and the shower can not be described as 'power'!

A spacious apartment in the centre of this friendly village. The property has a large double bedroom, a second good sized double room and a small single room. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath. The open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen is comfortable and light and airy. The kitchen appears to be well equipped but to be honest we didn’t use it as there are two very welcoming pubs in the village serving good food and real ales. There is also a lovely tea room which serves an excellent breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break in the Waterwheel.

We were attending a family event so did not spend a lot of time in the cottage but thought it was lovely. The owners were welcoming and friendly too.
