This apartment will be a quiet haven for couples, providing a comfortable retreat with charming views within the Yorkshire Dales.

Good base to explore Yorkshire Dales

Adjacent to this beautiful village’s salmon stream and tumbling waterfall (sketched by Turner), this top floor apartment forms part of a skilful conversion of the property built in the 17th century as a water-powered corn mill on the site of an even earlier Mill. Waters Edge Apartment is a quiet haven providing a comfortable rural retreat with a view down the village stream to Wensleydale. West Burton is in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and has a large green and excellent walks in all directions. This is a good central holiday base from which to explore the whole of the Yorkshire Dales. Shop and pub 300 yards.

All on third floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. 1 double bedroom. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

NSH included (£40per week November-March). Electricity included. Linen hire £8per person per week. Cot. High chair. Video. DVD. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Wi-fi. Parking (1 car). No smoking. NB: Property is adjacent to a waterfall and salmon stream.

Great spot for exploring the dales with walks right from the door. West Burton is a lovely village with a very handy village shop and a more than adequate pub. The apartment was very peaceful with the constant and soporific sound of the beck in the background to lull you to sleep.

Cleanliness was very good except there were a lot of old cobwebs on the stone walls which only need hoovering off. Mattress and pillows could have been more comfortable. Generally very good.

The holiday was great, the accommodation was perfect and more. Very well equipped and clean. Great village pub, people very welcoming and the location was ideal for tourism and exploring. I would highly recommend.
