The downstairs bathroom is looking tired. Needs to be updated. Areas of mould and dirt in the shower cubicle and around the window. Downstairs bedrooms need a freshen up. Needs new curtains as looking very old. Cobwebs in the sitting room area near celing.

I booked the property for a family break for 1 week in August. The views from the lounge windows and upstairs bedroom windows are marvellous. The cottage itself provided all we needed in terms of accommodation, sleeping quarters and bathrooms. I did feel that the cottage could have been cleaned better - lot of dust etc on skirting boards and lot of flies in cottage when we arrived . Notice these things more when you have a 15 month old baby with you. Also felt that the price charged for the week was a tad expensive but I assume that is the going rate these days. All in all we had a wonderful time there and would use it again if the price was right.

The cottage is marketed as a cottage for 6 people with a 4 star rating. Upstairs there is a very comfortable bedroom and en suite worthy of a 4 star rating. Downstairs is a double bedroom with a fantastic view and a comfortable bed and a twin room. The downstairs batroom and toilet does not meet the 4 star rating. It is old and dated. During our stay the cottage was not particularly clean - there was lots of dirt and dust behind furniture.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We were very disappointed with your comments, especially in view of the fact that they are so at odds with those of previous guests. We take cleanliness very seriously as evidenced by the fact that before your own rating for this aspect we scored an average of over 9 out of 10. The star rating for the cottage is set by the agency using national criteria and in their view, while the upstairs accommodation with its large roof terrace and sea views rates as 5 star, the overall rating for the cottage is 4 star. The downstairs bathroom is large, comfortable and well equipped with a shower, bidet, wash basin, heated towel rail and fan heater. There is also an adjacent separate WC with hand basin.

A good, comfortable, well equiped and spacious house in a great spot The upstairs master bedroom (en suite) is a lovely, suntrap of a room - the only downside being the built in wardrobe which required you to duck to get into it (hinging the door on the other side would help greatly). We enjoyed some lovely weather and were able to make use of the roof terrace - great spot from which to enjoy the fabulous view.

Very clean, smart, and well equipped cottage. Lost internet connection one evening, same the next morning but connection was back after resetting the router. Good 12Mb connection the rest of the time.

Really enjoyed our holiday here as a family of 6. Lovely cottage, beautiful views and location, easy reach of lots of good walks and beaches. Would highly recommend, and will definitely stay here next time we come to Pembrokeshire.
