Brilliant cottage. We loved it. You need a car. The fire isn’t brilliant so leave the door open a little to keep it burning. The bed was really comfy and the kitchen had everything we could have needed. Slow cooker was a blessing after a whole day out. The dog was welcome and he foun it very cosy too. The kitchen was a great space for him. The garden is enclosed. The shower curtain could have done with being a bit bigger. Overall a great cottage with plenty of space.

Beautiful Cottage set in a nice peaceful place, me and my Husband and my 5 year old and dog loved this place from the moment we pulled up in the drive. The Cottage is easy to find, the instructions given are simple which made it easy to know where to go. The Cottage was lovely and warm and clean when we arrived with a well equipped kitchen and a very cosy lounge with a log burner which we used a couple of times. The rooms are comfortable and warm. The garden is what it says a field with rugged landscape but fenced which kept our dog in. Location is spot on easy reach to Loch Ness, Fort William and Isle Of Skye and well worth going for a walk to explore the local area and look for the waterfall. Our trip was made more better with the snow. One tip though if it forecasts heavy snow we do recommend parking your car at the top of the driveway. We have a 4x4 and got stuck and could not get up the hill, however the Caretaker and owner was very accommodating and helpful and eventually we got towed up the hill. Fantastic place we will definitely be back but for longer next time 3 nights was not enough!

We booked for a long weekend and didn’t expect very much as it was cheap but when we opened the door it was lovely and snug. I suggest lighting the fire and cuddling up with a glass of wine. It’s an hour away from Inverness and great shopping as well as local shops near by for the essentials. If your after a restful break with amazing walks and views right on your doorstep this is great. I would highly recommend it, so much so we book a second visit on the Saturday of our stay but for a week this time, can’t wait, really great place.

What can we say? We had a absolutely fabulous time at Waterfall Cottage. Loved the location - so peaceful and beautiful views. The cottage is cosy and warm and had everything we needed. We felt so comfortable and relaxed that we didn't want to go home! So on that note, if the owners ever consider putting it up for sale, please let us know!!! We will definitely be going back next year.

We had the best time here, the kitchen is modern and spacious, the bedroom was definitely big enough for the two of us and the mattress was very comfortable! The living room sofa could do with an upgrade but we didn't spend much time watching tv to be honest, and you wouldn't do here. There are plenty of walks in the area and although we didn't find the waterfall the cottage is named after, it was fun trying to find it. The location is fantastic, it's so quiet which was lovely. We didn't find any local amenities but we weren't expecting to seeing as it's a small village. There is a recently done up building next to the cottage now, but there was no one there while we were so it remained very private. We'd definitely come back here, it's fantastic to get to Loch Ness, Isle of Skye...pretty much anywhere!
