Great location, Great Cottage, very comfortable bed. Kitchen is a bit on the small side. The owner Sylvie is such a lovely person. We stayed over the Christmas period and the extras put in by Sylvie were extraordinary, even a small xmas tree! The effort was so appreciated. Didn't see any owls but the Owl nesting box , with a great view from the kitchen, would be so interesting in the spring. Sylvie did say they had 2 chicks last year.

Sylvia’s cottage was absolutely fantastic and Sylvia was a really wonderful host. The garden is incredible, like a private park. It’s right in the heart of the country so you can go for long walks and runs, with fields full of beautiful Arab race horses, and there is even a village shop with everything you need just a lovely 15 min walk down the road. The house is cosy and clean and contains everything you could possibly need. The wifi is good. The woofs thought it was the best place in the world and Bessie, Sylvia’s own dog, couldn’t have been sweeter and more welcoming, sharing not just the garden with them but even her own toys. The garden is completely fenced in, so safe to let the dogs run around. A thoroughly relaxing trip. Couldn’t recommend Sylvia as a host and her guest cottage as a magical retreat more.
