Fantastic place to stay with everything in the property you are likely to need. From first pulling onto the drive of Warden bell you know you have made a good choice. The house is equipped to to very high standard with quality goods, it's upside down set up gives a great lounge and dining room with lovely views over to the sea, and sunsets! The open tread stairs are not that open and maybe a picture of these ought to be included as this might put off some people (which would be a shame!) We will most definitely return..

We had a very nice relaxing week, being a small island we covered most of it in the week. The roads were good to drive on and we were soon at the places we wanted to visit. The house was a pleasure to stay in, plenty of hot water and heating if we needed it and loads of room as there was only two of us staying. We were lucky as the weather was very good, the only thing we had to do was avoid the pop concert traffic. We were a bit unsure about the ferry trip but it went really well as every thing is well organised and runs like clockwork.

Wonderful accommodation, so clean and well looked after. This was the perfect escape from the rainy weather and a great place to explore the rest of the island from.

Warden Bell is an amazing house with a fantastic view from the balcony. Our part consisted of 4 adults & one eight year old boy. The bedrooms are downstairs, with the living accommodation upstairs - obviously to make the most of the gorgeous views from the balcony off the lounge. The only thing I would say is that the main bedroom smelt damp. I'm not sure whether they have had problems in the past or are experiencing problems now, but there was a definite musty smell in there.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for choosing to take your holiday at Warden Bell last year and also for taking the time to write a review of the property. I am glad that you found Warden Bell to be an amazing house and enjoyed the view from the lounge / balcony across Totland Bay. However, I am disappointed that you felt the main bedroom was damp. I am not aware of any problems of damp in the past or the present. I have been monitoring the situation myself over the last few months (hence my late response) and have not experienced the problem. I can only suggest that maybe the previous holiday makers had not opened the bathroom window after bathing. I do hope that you decide to come back to the Isle of Wight soon and choose Warden Bell again as it would be a pleasure to welcome you back.
