The picture of the property is misleading in as much as it is taken from the rear of the bungalow and a few years ago, this is obvious once you arrive as the garden was overgrown in parts and the building in need of some TLC. While nothing appeared structurally untoward it looked tired and drab. Inside ,the ceilings had cracks across most rooms and the furnishings carried the tired look. Having said this, inside was clean and comfortable and fully equipped throughout. While this did not detract from the surrounding areas in this picturesque part of the country, when arriving back at base the shine was dulled.

This is a lovely cottage in a quiet location to get away from it all. The enclosed garden was great so we could let our jack just run around and not worry about him getting out It could do with a little updating parts but there was everything there we needed and it was clean and comfy plus the welcome pack of tea/coffee milk sugar and fruit was nice treat after a long drive

We had a really nice holiday at Walters Cottage, every need was catered for, it was warm and comfortable, and the garden was really safe for our little dog, and very pretty and peaceful, wish our stay had been longer, but hopefully we will be back next year to enjoy the many comforts of Walters Cottage.
