Waldeck is a great choice for large groups to select for a holiday break. The house is very spacious and well appointed with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The large garden is an ideal place to spend time when the weather allows. Dog owners have a choice of local walks for their pets. With the local railway station being a short walk away there is an opportunity to leave cars and travel to Chester and beyond. The local pub is also a very friendly place with a good food and drinks menu.

wonderful holiday accomodation with large rooms and plenty of space for a large family,a pleasure to come back to after a day out. We had 2 dogs with us so the enclosed garden was a bonus. Having the train station so close was very handy. The location of Waldeck is excellent with lots of Cheshire country pubs to choose from, the goshawk in the village does an amazing Sunday lunch.

What a wonderful find! We stayed in Waldeck when our son was married in Ashton Hayes. We were able to accommodate family and entertain family and friends before and after the wedding with ease. The location was excellent - just beside the train station with links to Manchester and Chester, and a very short walk to the excellent resturant, The Goshawk. The house was so well equipped (kitchen, living and dining rooms, and bedrooms), we had everything we could have asked for - and more!

We had one of our best ever holidays in this wonderful house. We were a family of eight, ranging from 1 to 67 years and two dogs. Everything we needed was provided, even a slow cooker so we could come home from a long day out to a lovely hot dinner. The house is located within 30-40 minutes drive from all the places we wanted to visit: Chester, the Zoo, Liverpool, Prestatyn, and there were lovely country walks, either from the door or in Delamere Forest. Our little grandsons and the dogs loved the garden. We are recommending all our friends to book the house and will return ourselves.

We had a lovely week. The house had plenty of room for all of us and had everything we needed and more. Location was excellent being really close to the railway station to get to Chester and beyond. The local pub was very close and we had a lovely meal there. We would definitely book again- we could live there!
