The cottage was in a superb location for touring and had a wonderful garden. There were one or two things that let it down It was querky which is what we liked, but just tired. The kitchen hob had only one element working, getting the oven door to shut to cook was a challenge, the bottom sheets on the bed were not nearly as good quality as the rest of the bedding. These were only small items in the overall experience, but are what you remember, hence the lower review.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. We are puzzled by the comment that the kitchen hob had only 1 ring working. We the Owners regularly check the appliances and all 4 hob rings are in good working order. Since the guests visit, we have had other guests visiting our cottage and no comments have been made. We apologise for the quality of the bedding, this is due to be replaced soon. We hope you return to Vine Cottage in the future.

Really nice cottage and lovely large garden. whole family loved it including my dog. Only thing was that the light bulbs in the bathroom weren't working so bit awkward at night. apart from that it was really good and will definitely go back.

A restful time following three hectic weeks touring in France. The cottage is ideal for the two of us, but it has only one bathroom, which might be a drawback for a large family. The kitchen is very well equipped. The great weather allowed us to enjoy the beautiful garden. There are no shops (or a pub) in the village of Honnington, but Shipston has all necessary facilities, and Waitrose at Stratford os not far away. There are a lot of good pubs serving great food in the local area.
